Hope Haven

Ministry Description
Hope Haven is a Christ-centered organization dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to live successful, meaningful, and independent lives. Guided by our mission — “As followers of Christ, we partner with people in developing work and life skills so that they may enjoy a productive life in their community” — we provide a comprehensive continuum of services across Iowa, Minnesota, and beyond.

Our programs include community living services, day habilitation, employment and vocational training, mental health and recovery support, spiritual care, and innovative technologies such as Smart Living remote support. With more than 50 community living homes and services offered in over 15 communities, we walk alongside individuals as they build skills, pursue independence, and engage fully in community life.

Hope Haven also extends Christian mercy globally through our international ministries, including wheelchair distribution, therapy outreach, and partnerships that support people with disabilities in developing countries. More than 155,000 wheelchairs have been delivered worldwide through these efforts.

Rooted in faith and committed to dignity, purpose, and inclusion, Hope Haven continues to serve as a trusted partner for individuals with disabilities and their families.
