Since 1911, Union Mission Ministries has been a ready, active hand of help to the needy of West Virginia. Our mission is "helping hurting people in Jesus' name," and as such, we unabashedly share the Gospel of Jesus Christ even as we minister to the physical needs of the downtrodden. Some of Union Mission's programs include: Union Mission Men's Recovery Program, Women's Recovery Program; the Union Mission Men's Shelter program provides services to homeless men every hour of the day, 365 days of the year; Family Services, which offers food, clothing, life management skills to struggling families in 13 West Virginia counties . The Men's Addiction Recovery Program, as well as the Women's Addiction Recovery program is designed to meet the needs of those suffering from addictions, incarceration, domestic difficulties, and emotional trauma; and the Outreach Ministry, the largest food distribution agent in the state, serving 13 West Virginia counties.
