Ministry Description
Regent University, incorporated as a nonprofit educational corporation, is approved by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia to award associates, baccalaureate, master's and doctorate degrees. Regent University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associates, baccalaureate, master's, and doctorate degrees. The School of Law is accredited by the American Bar Association. The School of Divinity is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools (ATS). The School of Psychology & Counseling is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). Regent University presently includes the College of Arts & Sciences with 4-year bachelor's degrees along with seven graduate schools: Communication & the Arts, Divinity, Education, Business and Leadership, Government, Law, and Psychology & Counseling.
