Handi*Camp

Ministry Description
We offer a variety of ministry opportunities designed for children and adults affected by physical and/or intellectual disabilities.

H*VMI held overnight camp from 1974 through 2019. Overnight camp was cancelled in 2020 due to COVID. Our Day Camps started in 2021 and continues through today. H*VMI currently holds nine 3-day camp sessions for people with intellectual and/or physical disabilities. The age range is from six-years old through adult. It runs from the first week in June to the second week in July.

We hold an annual weekend retreat at a camp facility in Chester County, PA in March. This is for adults with physical disabilities.

Our camp and retreat sessions provide parents and caregivers with a much needed break from daily care routines.

We hold 10 monthly Bible Clubs for people with disabilities from October through April. Two Bible Clubs are held at a local church. Four clubs are held in a conference room in our office building. Four clubs are held at long
