Shepherd Community is working to impact the Near-Eastside of Indianapolis with Christian Compassion. Through a variety of programs we seek to introduce folks to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and incorporate them into the body of believers. Our programs include after-school programs for children, Super Saturday for kids, food and clothing distribution, jobs program, summer day camp, holiday programs, Hispanic outreach, sports outreach, teen outreach, and an inner-city Christian School.

Shepherd Community is a faith-based, inner-city ministry that has operated on the near Eastside of Indianapolis since 1984. Shepherd Community Center works with neighborhood youth and their families to break the cycle of poverty by cultivating healthier children, stronger families, and safer neighborhoods through supportive relationships that meet the physical, emotional, academic and spiritual needs of area residents.
