Ministry Description

Hospitality House Youth Development (HHYD) provides a Christian outreach focused on the spiritual, intellectual and physical development of inner city youth and their families. For 60 years, Hospitality House has focused on families living in poverty. As a caring community with high expectations and significant support, we help young people discover and develop their interests on a path of integrity and self-sufficiency. HHYD persistently reduces barriers to success for k-12th graders through education, athletics, community outreach and family programs. Character development and skills training are approached from different angles through experiential learning. Together, change happens.

The Choir consists of about 25 kids who work together as a team while exercising their love and talent for singing. The message of Christ is shared through song and prayer. This program gives kids the opportunity to perform and teaches them about discipline, responsibility, teamwork, and the value of community involvement.
