Ministry Description

Haiti Teen Challenge is a Christian development organization formed that is transforming lives and the nation of Haiti through the biblical, thriving church. Our mission and vision are based on Isaiah 61:1-9, we believe that only Haitians, with God's help, can heal their land. HTC is: 1. Gospel powered, Haitian led and owned 2. Only residential program in Haiti that Transforms-Equips-Mobilizes-Sustains young men and women, building them into leaders of integrity so that they are empowered to rebuild their nation for God's glory. 3. A catalyst for sustainable change by partnering Rendez Vous Christ Church, other local churches, networking with influencers and building kingdom based economic engines.

Haiti Teen Challenge is asset based community development ministry, because we are convinced that Haitians must lead any significant change in their nation. It is not about how we are going to "fix" Haiti, but how we are going to walk with our Haitian brothers and sisters, establishing trust, supporting their leadership, and helping them to recognize their resources, build leadership capacity and develop strategy to achieve deep and lasting change.
