City Mission is the only crises emergency shelter in Hancock County. We offer emergency and crises shelter to men, women, children, and families. We also offer stabilization from substance abuse, addiction, or other life situations through advocacy and referrals. We work with agencies and organizations to see that our guests have the services and options available to make life changing choices.

The goals of the City Mission are: 1. To provide temporary lodging and food for people in need of emergency help. 2. To give counsel, guidance, comfort, and a Christian witness to those with spiritual needs. 3. To cooperate with city and state agencies along with other religious and charitable organizations in helping the poor and needy.
