Ministry Description

Orphan Relief and Rescue is a registered nonprofit organization that has been in existence since 2007. Our mission is, we overcome injustice in the areas of abuse, neglect, and trafficking for underserved children in West Africa. Our efforts to protect, empower, and restore these children and communities are comprehensive and successfully carried out through the following programs: Anti-Trafficking Initiative, Greater Opportunity (education and mentorship), and Break The Silence (an anti-trafficking and sexual abuse crisis hotline). Our local Anti-Trafficking Team works to identify and bring home children living in modern day slavery. Through our Safe Homes, Foster Homes, and Greater Opportunity program, we provide a safe place where children can heal from trauma and be given the chance to hope again, and be taught the necessary life-skills to be fully prepared for life.

Life for an orphaned or abandoned child in Liberia or Benin, West Africa is a daily struggle to survive. These children have had their worlds turned upside down. Your sponsorship of just $35 per month will provide a child with daily food, routine healthcare, school fees and uniform, and afterschool programs. Your child will also have the opportunity to learn about God and His life-changing love. Your support goes directly to the needs of your sponsored child and his or her orphanage.
