According to the most recent estimates, over 40 million people live in slavery today because of human trafficking. Most trafficking victims are subjected to the worst conditions and some of the most horrific crimes including deception, kidnapping, rape, torture, and enslavement. Since 2006, Love Justice International has been fighting this injustice with their transit monitoring strategy. Transit monitoring focuses on identifying and assisting potential victims of trafficking as they’re in the process of being trafficked but before they reach the destination where they will be exploited and enslaved.
