Word and Deed seeks to improve the spiritual and physical lives of those who have been deprived of the basic necessities of life by virtue of disease, poverty and/or natural disasters. This is accomplished through partnerships with indigenous churches and Christian organizations which enable us to support and administer development projects, child sponsorships, and disaster relief in conjunction with Biblically-based evangelistic efforts. We encourage Christians in North America to a greater awareness of and concern for the poor and engage them in the work of the Great Commission through education, fundraising, and work teams. Word & Deed's three main areas of emphasis are a focus on the gospel in all projects, partnering and developing indigenous leadership, and encouraging self-sufficiency.

For only $35 per month you can provide a child with a school uniform, basic medical care, a Christian education, a nutritious meal each school day, basic instruction and counseling for the parent. You will receive a picture of your sponsor child, an update twice per year, and the opportunity to correspond with your sponsor child should you so desire.
Providing support for Christian Day School and After School Programs of countries in Africa, South & Central America & Asia where we have our indigenous partners who teach, tutor, & mentor children while also bringing a gospel message of Jesus Christ.
Provide disaster relief aid in a number of countries in Africa, South & Central America & Asia where we have our indigenous partners on the ground who can assess and implement a program of relief and rehabilitation while also bringing a gospel message to beneficiaries.
