Hands of The Carpenter (Hands) is a faith-based nonprofit organization providing HOPE to working single mothers by preventing or solving unreliable vehicle issues. Through its automotive services programs (TLC and Lift UP), Hands serves working single mothers in need by providing automobile services along with related education to assist in their efforts to become or remain economically self-sufficient. Clients are served regardless of their race, color, gender, religion, national origin or ancestry, differently abled, or age. Women come to Hands from across the Metro-Denver area in Colorado, and through partner organizations. Services are delivered by Hands staff and volunteers, and through a GNG partnership network of 18 parts and service providers across the metro area.

Hands of The Carpenter (Hands) is a faith-based nonprofit community that uniquely serves low/fixed income single mothers and widows by addressing the often overlooked issue of transportation. Hands provides automobile donation/placement, repair, maintenance, and related education to keep women on the road towards economic self-sufficiency. Hands welcomes volunteers with some car repair experience to help with minor repairs and maintenance on clients’ vehicles and to prepare donated cars for use.
