TheHopeLine

Ministry Description
The mission of TheHopeLine is to nurture students and young adults through crisis to Christ. Our ministry is digital, with the primary outreach being through our website www.TheHopeLine.com. The site offers a library of free resources — including articles, eBooks, podcasts, and videos — covering over 50 topics such as depression, anxiety, self-harm, addiction, relationships, and abuse. At the heart of the ministry are Hope Coaches, available 24 hours a day via free, safe, and confidential live chat, ready to listen without judgment. TheHopeLine was founded by Dawson McAllister in 1991, when the mission was carried out through his nationally broadcast radio show. Today, that same mission is executed through the website and live chat, continuing to reach students and young adults in crisis for over 30 years.
