Hellenic Ministries' purpose is to promote the reality of Jesus Christ and the applicability of Christian life to today's world, particularly in the context of Greece and to the Greek people, by means of Evangelism (communicating the reality of Jesus Christ and his rightful claim to the heart of every person, along with literature and Bible distribution); Discipleship (communicating and modeling the Christian life in a way that creates committed Christian leaders); Missions (leading teams to discover how God can use them in fulfilling the Great Commission mandate to the nations); and Mercy Ministries (alleviating human suffering among refugees and the poor while also presenting Christian witness).

Operation Joshua is made possible by the many helpers and volunteers from all over the world who rally for the cause of God’s Kingdom in Greece. The challenge ahead of us is great, but so is the faith and strength of those who enlist in God’s powerful army! Please consider supporting this work by donating towards the cost of the Bibles and distribution.
Hellenic Ministries serves over 350 meals per week to minister to the over 1,000,000 refugees who live on the streets of Athens, Greece. At Christmas time, over 600 refugees are fed and given gifts to help them through the winter, as they are, for the most part, homeless. We also help with laundry, showers, medical needs and hold Bible studies for the refugees.
With no shelter of its kind in Athens, a sprawling city of 5 million people with one of the highest abortion rates in the world, there is great need for a crisis pregnancy center/home. Our desire is to provide counseling and encouragement for girls to give life to their unborn children and not to seek an abortion. We want to offer ‘Hope’ and a safe refuge for girls to stay in during their pregnancy. We plan to help girls get set up in their new life with their baby after they leave our Center, o
