Kenya Hope

Ministry Description
Organization & Mission
Kenya Hope is a Christian non-profit (501(c)(3)) ministry focused on serving vulnerable Maasai communities and Kibera slum residents in Kenya.
Kenya Hope. Rooted in Scripture, its work emphasizes both compassion and the proclamation of the gospel.

Core Activities & Programs
Kenya Hope operates through locally-led Hope Centers, which provide a holistic suite of services:
- Clean Water: Deep solar-powered wells and water towers for entire communities.
- Student Sponsorship & Education: Feeding 3,000+ students daily, covering school fees, uniforms, and learning materials.
- Widow Empowerment (“Widows Might”): Training for widows to start businesses and achieve self-sufficiency.
- Spiritual Discipleship: Distribution of solar audio Bibles in local languages, showing the Jesus Film, and training local pastors.
- Agricultural Support: Preparing communities for drought through farming programs.

Sustainability & Development Model
- Hope Centers are designed to become self-governing, with community leaders trained to run them independently.
- Kenya Hope encourages long-term partnerships: U.S. churches or donors “adopt” a Hope Center for a ten-year commitment.
- Its “God Is Faithful” initiative funds ongoing development: a monthly $20 gift supports water systems, schools, feeding programs, and community centers.
