Ministry Description

Compassion Radio is a communications ministry that, because of its commitment to Jesus Christ, goes beyond talk and into action to serve the poor, wounded and oppressed, just as Jesus did. Compassion Radio broadcasts heard daily across America and internationally, feature teaching, interviews and on-site reports from the world's toughest places, and seek to mobilize listeners to extend Christ's healing through compassion projects in over 30 countries. Compassion Radio Projects rescue at-risk children, renew schools, provide food, shelter and medical aid and assist those who suffer from religious persecution. Compassion Radio's motivating principle: "Those who help the poor honor God" (Proverbs 14:31).

We are partnering with Bibles For The World to place Bibles into the hands of Chinese believers. This ministry is one of the premier Bible placement and literacy outreaches on the planet. They have vigorous and consistent evangelistic outreach in over 100 countries. They print and distribute more Bibles and gospel than any other missions agency. They evangelize and train hundreds of pastors and evangelists each year in their own seminaries and training conferences.
The Door of Hope Project is a partnership between Compassion Radio and a mission church in Johannesburg, South Africa. Since this project began, 1,500 babies have been rescued from certain death! We are currently partnering with Door of Hope towards the building of their newest endeavor, the Children’s Village. This is a community designed to give abandoned babies the most ‘normal’ and healthy life possible while they are growing up to adulthood.
