Phoenix Rescue Mission (PRM) provides residential and non-residential services designed to provide life-transforming solutions to individuals facing hunger, homelessness, addiction, and trauma. Residential programs are therapeutic communities offering a unique blend of Christian discipleship, clinical behavioral health services, and workforce development. Nonresidential programs include food distribution and homeless outreach services that operate all throughout the Greater Phoenix area. PRM mobilizes the Christian community by offering training programs for residential clients in advanced phases of the program, counseling and social work internships to college students, and impactful volunteer opportunities for members of the community. The ultimate goal of PRM’s programs is to see every life and community be transformed by Christ. PRM’s programs are designed to assist participants in progressing towards five target outcomes: 1) Continued Christian growth 2) Freedom from life-controlling problems 3) Financial sustainability 4) Healthy housing and support system 5) Enhanced quality of life

During the Code Red months of May-August, with temps rarely leaving the triple digits, life on the streets goes from unbearable to deadly. Homeless men, women, and children urgently need your help to survive the blistering summer heat. The Mission brings the community together every summer to collect hundreds of thousands of bottles of water, create Hope Totes to give to those on the street, and raise funds to offer shelter from the deadly heat.
During the Christmas season, you can help families in need, and in the process, receive a dollar-for-dollar credit on your Arizona state taxes! How does it work? You can make a donation to Phoenix Rescue Mission of any amount (up to $200 if filing singly or $400 if filing jointly for your Arizona state tax return). When you file your Arizona taxes, you can claim a dollar-for-dollar Arizona Charitable Tax Credit that will either reduce your tax liability or increase your refund.
$1.92 can change a life. You can help us give water, food, and hope to a homeless man, woman, or child for only $1.92 per person. Learn how your tax-deductible donation, in any amount, can change a person's life.
