African Leadership

Ministry Description
Change in Africa doesn’t start with outside programs. It starts with local leaders who are

personally healthy, organizationally strong, and connected to peers who understand what

they carry.

When those leaders are supported through deep, trust-based partnership rather than outside

direction, they build solutions their communities genuinely own. When their organizations

are strong, those solutions last. And when that happens at scale, across sectors and

geography, -- it produces the kind of transformation no external program could have

designed or sustained on their behalf.

This is why AL invests the way it does. Not quickly. Not broadly. Deeply, in a small number of

leaders, over time. Because that is where lasting change actually begins.
