Loving Shepherd Ministries is a Christian, not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to help some of the world's most vulnerable children reach their God-given potential. This is accomplished by providing free adoption consultation services, creating and sustaining families in Haiti and Ethiopia, engaging with the church in the USA and abroad, and developing educational and business opportunities. The organization currently operates in Bluffton, Indiana in order to facilitate and promote its activities and services.

In response to the justice and love of God, LSM works to rescue and restore women being exploited in Ethiopia. Thousands of young girls are coerced into leaving their rural homes in the Ethiopian countryside. They are taken to Addis Ababa and forced to become prostitutes. Other young women naively move to the city in hopes of finding work in order to support their families. They, too, end up trapped in a life of prostitution – with no hope of escape. LSM works to combat this vicious cycle.
Homes of Hope are not group homes. They are not orphanages. They are families. Plain and simple. We have established the Hands of the Shepherd (HOS) program to provide opportunities for you to support a Home of Hope. Through the HOS program you become a part of the family. As an HOS, you do not sponsor one individual child. Rather, you sponsor an entire family! By supporting the family, you are helping 12 children and their house parents succeed as a family.
