Project MedSend (MedSend) enables highly qualified and dedicated healthcare professionals to serve people in need around the world in the name of Christ. One of the primary ways we do this is by awarding educational loan repayment grants to career healthcare missionaries. This frees them to serve in areas of deep physical and spiritual need, many in areas that are not readily accessible to other types of Christian workers. MedSend grant recipients staff and run mission hospitals and rural clinics, train and mentor Christian nationals, and provide community health education programs. Each grant recipient serves under the authority of a "MedSend Associate" one of more than 50 sending agencies that MedSend partners with to provide accountability and oversight. MedSend has also created a "Nationals Scholar Program" which provides sponsorship of advanced medical and biblical training of non-American Christian healthcare professionals in Africa, Asia, & the Middle East to serve their own p

MedSend healthcare professionals serve long-term in healthcare missions around the world. Today they are choosing to stay and bring hope for those battling COVID-19. And the urgency is greater than ever. They are committed to remain in the countries where they are serving, in order to be a light to their communities. The are on the front lines, fighting diseases like COVID-19, and bringing the hope of Jesus Christ, funding is needed even more in this critical time.
