European Christian Mission International (ECMI), founded in 1904, is one of the oldest continuing missions in Europe. ECMI exists to establish and develop reproducing churches which evangelize and disciple the peoples of Europe. Its vision is to see the peoples of Europe transformed in the name of Jesus Christ. ECMI concentrates its work in 25 countries on this continent of more than 820 million people, of which less than 2% in most countries would be considered followers of Christ. Comprised of more than twenty nationalities, ECMI's 200+ missionaries form a cohesive team of international workers and national believers. ECMI is evangelical and interdenominational and sends teams from Australia/New Zealand, Britain, N. Ireland, Holland, the USA, and Central and South America. It partners with sending agencies in Germany and Switzerland. ECMI-USA exists to mobilize prayer, people, partnerships, and financial provision from the US to aid in the task of reaching Europe for Christ.
