CURE International

Ministry Description
Every day, CURE International exists to do one thing: “heal the sick and proclaim the kingdom of God” (Luke 9:2). Across eight CURE Children’s Hospitals—seven in Africa and one in the Philippines—children living with treatable disabilities receive world-class surgical care at no cost to their families. Many arrive having been hidden away, abandoned, or viewed as cursed.

Without CURE, there would simply be no path forward. Yet through compassionate medical teams and skilled surgeons, children with clubfoot, cleft lip/palate, bowed legs, burn contractures, and hydrocephalus experience life-changing healing that restores dignity, mobility, and hope. In every hospital, we also train national surgeons, nurses, and clinicians—strengthening pediatric surgical capacity for the long-term and multiplying Kingdom impact for generations.

And with each surgery, the Gospel is shared. Alongside physical healing, every child and caregiver hears about the love of Jesus—often for the very first time. We have watched families from Muslim, animist, and unreached backgrounds encounter the hope of Christ because someone made it possible for their child to come to CURE.

CURE's Key Activities:

1. Provide transformative, corrective surgery for children living with treatable disabilities.
2. Share Christ’s love with every patient and family who walks through our doors.
3. Offer world-class care at no financial burden to families who could never afford it.
4. Equip and train local medical professionals to expand high-quality pediatric surgical care.
