Aslan Youth Ministries is a Christ-centered, non-denominational ministry serving the spiritual, emotional & physical needs of urban, at-risk children and families in the underserved, African-American community. Founded in 1975, Aslan's multifaceted, year-round programs consist of Bible classes, tutoring & mentoring, summer camps, enrichment & recreation. Aslan provides years of relationship building - empowering children ages 5 through adulthood to overcome the negative aspects of their lives & environs. Our programs regularly reach 150 children. Aslan also reaches 200 children in L'Acajou, Haiti, where we own 6 acres of land. Since 1996, we have introduced our American youth to the beauty of their African heritage in Haiti and helped them understand the staggering needs of those in the Third World. We've built a modern medical clinic in Haiti and are constructing a church. We dream that our practical model of ministry will grow into cities throughout our country & world.
