Application Requirements
Before you apply, let’s see if your ministry is ready for ECFA accreditation. The requirements below are in place to protect your ministry since the external cost of annual financial statements prepared by an independent CPA can be significant.
For Churches
Must have been in existence for at least one year and be based in the US
Generate $50,000 or more in annual revenue and have CPA-prepared financial statements to show
Review ECFA’s Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship™
For Nonprofits
Must have held a 501(c)(3) for at least one year and be based in the US
Generate $50,000 or more in annual revenue and have CPA-prepared financial statements to show
