Long Island Youth Mentoring

Ministry Description
Long Island Youth Mentoring assists the church in the long-term evangelistic outreach to hurting children and their families. Christian volunteers are screened and trained to become mentors to the children, meeting with them for two to four hours each week. A walk in the park or baking cookies, all activities God uses to build relationships, which act as a conduit to connect the child to the Savior. We also have a tutoring ministry, a ministry to children in group foster homes, and a mother's ministry to the mothers of these children.
