The Harvest Center of Charlotte Becomes an ECFA Accredited Organization

The Harvest Center of Charlotte Accredited by National Financial Accountability Organization

CHARLOTTE, NC – The ECFA (Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability) announced today the accreditation of The Harvest Center of Charlotte of Charlotte, NC.

ECFA accreditation is based on the ECFA Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship™, including financial accountability, transparency, sound board governance and ethical fundraising.

The Harvest Center of Charlotte joins a growing number of Christ-centered churches and ministries across America, supported by over 27 million donors that have earned the right to display the ECFA seal.  When an organization is accredited by ECFA, it demonstrates its willingness to follow the model of biblical accountability.

“We are pleased to accredit a ministry committed to create a community where individuals affected by homelessness, poverty, or unemployment are empowered through their transitional programs and transformed by the love and ministry of Jesus Christ,” said Dan Busby, president of ECFA.

Founded in 2001, The Harvest Center of Charlotte (www.theharvestcenter.org) is about transforming lives, being a place where dignity is restored through sustainable housing, gainful employment, and faith community connections.
