Senators Sign Letter to SBA and Treasury Asking Continued Help for Nonprofits and Churches Amongst Coronavirus [COVID-19]

Nineteen US Senators recently signed a letter of thanks to the Department of the Treasury Secretary and the Small Business Association Administrator for their work and response to the CARES Act protecting religious liberty.

This letter, together with their thanks, details the many benefits they’ve seen for faith-based organizations in the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and the expansion of the Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program (EIDL), and continues to ask for support from the Administration in making sure these guidelines and the actions of lenders are monitored well and carried out quickly.
