St. Matthew's House Becomes an ECFA Accredited Organization

St. Matthew's House Accredited by National Financial Accountability Organization

NAPLES, FL – The ECFA (Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability) announced today the accreditation of St. Matthew's House of Naples, FL.

ECFA accreditation is based on the ECFA Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship™, including financial accountability, transparency, sound board governance and ethical fundraising.

St. Matthew's House joins a growing number of Christ-centered churches and ministries across America, supported by over 27 million donors that have earned the right to display the ECFA seal.  When an organization is accredited by ECFA, it demonstrates its willingness to follow the model of biblical accountability.

“We are pleased to accredit a ministry committed to change lives in a spiritual environment that is both compassionate and disciplined as they provide housing for the homeless, food for the needy, and comfort for the addicted and suffering,” said Dan Busby, president of ECFA.

Founded in 1987, St. Matthew's House’s (www.stmatthewshouse.org) vision is to become a model agency to provide services and resources to the homeless, hungry, and addicted while seeking to expand the capacity to meet present and future needs in the most effective and efficient manner.
