Ministry Description
Coachella Valley Rescue Mission exists to serve those in need by sharing the saving grace of Jesus Christ through the provision of food, shelter, clothing and spiritual recovery, thus improving the quality of their lives. Started 34 years ago by concerned area businessmen, CVRM has been providing assistance to the homeless and needy through the generosity of private donors, churches and service groups. Originally started just for men, facilities for women were added in the mid-80's. Long-term residential programs were developed to help formerly addicted individuals successfully return to society.

ServantMatch™
Our current 1930's era building for 80 is not meeting the needs of hungry and hurting families. The new building on property adjacent is paid in full and will house 150 people with classrooms, expanded kitchen, chapel, program services and volunteer opportunities. Naming opportunities are available. Financial and gift in kind donations are greatly appreciated. Additional information is available.
CVRM is committed to enveloping the hungry and hurting men, women and children who come for a hot meal or shelter with the love of Jesus Christ. We serve over 530 meals a day and in 2008 over 6,000 food boxes for families and 30,000 safe bed nights. Our programs include overnight shelter, case management and a 1 year discipleship program. We could not provide help to the least, the last and the lost without the generosity of our donors. We are 92% funded through private donations.
