Ministry Description
The mission of The Evangelical Free Church of America is to glorify God by multiplying transformational churches among all people. United by a mutual commitment to serve our Lord Jesus Christ with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and obedience to the Word of God, The Evangelical Free Church of America is an association of approximately 1,500 churches and church plants in the United States with 600 missionaries impacting 93 countries of the world.

Our ReachGlobal Crisis Response team is partnering with Riverside Community Church to help local area residents who have been impacted by the high water and damaged infrastructure in the Columbia, South Carolina area.
Crises offer unique opportunities for compassionate outreach, evangelism and disciplemaking. Our Crisis Response teams help EFCA churches and ReachGlobal partners prepare for and respond to disasters in their communities and around the world. Responding to crises is effective missions.
On April 16, 2016 a 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit the west coast of Ecuador leaving behind a path of destroyed homes, businesses and lives. More than 29,000 people were left homeless and unsure of what was ahead. No one was more affected than the children and their families. With over 250 schools either destroyed or damaged, these children's lives have been disrupted in profound ways.
EFCA ReachGlobal crisis response provides immediate relief and long-term strategies to restore communities and individuals affected by disasters worldwide.
GlobalFingerprints is the EFCA's child sponsorship program for orphans of HIV/AIDS and other tragic circumstances. Through GlobalFingerprints, children will see their practical needs met in the name of Jesus
EFCA ReachGlobal Crisis Response is uniquely positioned to bring the hope of Christ following Hurricane Matthew. Follow the latest updates on Hurricane Matthew and learn how you can help in the recovery efforts.
Even years after Hurricane Sandy the results are still being felt on Staten Island. The immediate needs of food and water were met long ago but there are still hundreds of homes in need of repair or rebuilding. More important than the physical needs are the spiritual and emotional needs of Staten Islanders.
The two earthquakes in Nepal on April 25 and May 12, 2015 resulted in destruction or damage to over 750,000 homes, leaving millions of people homeless. ReachGlobal staff and OC International have been responding together to this crisis by partnering with local churches to reach out to communities to holistically minister to the needs of the people.
ReachNational combines the strengths of our urban and intercultural ministry leaders and national ministry leaders to form one team with one mission. Partnering with EFCA churches, districts and leaders in the U.S., we will work hand-in-hand to glorify God by multiplying healthy churches among all people.
