Ministry Description
Precept Ministries is a Bible study development, teaching, and conference center with the mission "to establish people in God's Word as that which produces reverence for Him." Our vision is to see the reality of people living as exemplary followers of Jesus Christ, studying the Bible inductively, viewing the world Biblically, serving the church faithfully, in the power of the Holy Spirit. We are the inductive Bible study people; we teach people how to study God's Word inductively...everybody, everywhere, any time, any place, any language, any age. We have one message: God's Word. We have one method: the inductive Bible study method. The ministry accomplishes its mission by: teaching the Word of God through inductive Bible studies; developing supporting Bible study materials (books, video and audio tapes); conducting Bible study institutes throughout the United States and around the world to teach leaders and students the Precept inductive Bible study method; conducting conferences in Chattanooga, Tennessee; and communicating Bible studies through the daily radio program, "PRECEPT with Kay Arthur," the live weekly radio program "PRECEPT LIVE with Kay and Jan," and the television program, "HOW CAN I LIVE?"
