Ministry Description
Trinity Christian Community exists to develop transformational leaders from the ranks of those most disadvantaged in the City of New Orleans. Believing that "transformed lives transform lives" we seek first to lead developing leaders into a relationship with Jesus Christ. This, we believe, is the critical catalyst to community change. Through programs of personal and community transformation, TCC then seeks to see radical improvement through these leaders in the neighborhoods long neglected and forgotten. We work hard to build communities where at-risk youth and families can live, work and play. We are affiliated with the Christian Community Development Association and the Leadership Foundations of America.

ServantMatch™
Each summer thousands of youth attend summer camp. For poor, urban youth this is an unreachable opportunity. Yet it in our nation's urban centers where youth crime peaks in the summertime; youth have no place to go. Trinity Christian Community provides opportunities for urban young people to attend Christian Day camps and summer, sleepaway camps. For about $300 you can provide one of these at-risk youth the opportunity of a lifetime, and a chance to experience Jesus' love.
As Trinity Christian Community rebuilds New Orleans following the vast devastation of five hurricanes, youth are the most at-risk. With few opportunities they sit at home in front of the television, or worse, they create mischief. Trinity Christian Community works to help them become community leaders. Through academic programs, character development, Christian leadership opportunities and summer camps, youth are helped to become servant leaders for New Orleans, and beyond.
Following multiple hurricanes, New Orleans is a shambles. The Church has stepped into the gap and has developed a reputation as being the organization most successful in the rebuilding process. Trinity Christian Community has leveraged people and dollars to help the most vulnerable. Via short-term mission projects, internships and innovative building projects, thousands have been helped to return home. This is your chance to rebuild homes and lives for the sake of the Kingdom.
