Many Muslims in Iran and Afghanistan are turning to Christ. However under the Islamic law (Shari'a) this is considered to be apostasy. Some persecution is carried out by the apostate’s family, but many of these Christian believers are arrested, interrogated, threatened, beaten, tortured, and even martyred by their government. ICI has helped over 1,000 persecuted families over the past 25 years by documenting their cases for immigration to a safe country and advocated on their behalf.
