Ministry Description
We are a family of partners and supporters united in a common goal - to bring the Word of God to the people of every language group in the world! There are 380 million Bibleless people in the world today. We care about them and about the Gospel. We enthusiastically support Bible translation by offering our talents and skills to benefit Bible translators all over the world. We pray about Bible translation, give financially and practically, tell others how they can help, and go to the places that need our help. Hundreds of Wycliffe Associates volunteers do their part to keep Bible translation moving forward by building and renovating facilities, teaching in Vacation Bible School, helping with childcare, constructing roads and airstrips, doing office work, using computer skills, and overseeing various projects. Wycliffe associates work in Southeast Asia, Papua New Guinea, Africa, Central America, South America, and in the United States.

The people of Indonesia desperately need the truth, light, and freedom of the gospel! Because many of Indonesia's people groups live in remote areas of dense rainforests, low-lying swamps, and towering mountains—the hope of God's Word can only reach them by airplane. But you can make TWICE THE IMPACT on Bible translation in this spiritually dark region of the world through a $49,500 Matching Challenge for Indonesia. Each dollar you give today becomes two to help transform hearts with the truth.
Many Bible translation projects take place in areas of civil unrest, frequent natural disasters, and even severe persecution. Your gift to the Wycliffe Associates Missionary 911 Fund provides assistance instantly when tragedy strikes. You will help evacuate translators and their families, provide temporary housing, replace some of their belongings, and help the work of Bible translation move forward in spite of trouble.
People in the remote New Ireland Province of Papua New Guinea are living in spiritual darkness. They are hungry for the hope and peace that only God's Word can bring. Without Scripture, they will fill the void any way they can. You can help make an eternal difference through Wycliffe Associates Bible translation efforts. When you give today, YOUR GIFT WILL HAVE DOUBLE THE IMPACT! Every gift to accelerate Bible translation in New Ireland will be matched, dollar-for-dollar.
Millions still wait for God's Word in their own heart language in the Timor region and the surrounding islands of Indonesia. More than 65 Bible translators are working to share God's Word in 80 different languages in the Timor region. Your gift to Wycliffe Associates will help equip and train nationals. These are people who already live in the region, who speak the language, who understand the culture, and who can travel where others cannot. Help spread God's Word faster!
Vision 2025 is a plan to have Bible translation started for every language that needs it by the year 2025—more than 2,000 translation projects have yet to begin. Numerous volunteers and generous partners are critical to accomplishing this goal in our lifetime. You can be a part of this historic effort! Partner with Wycliffe Associates by giving today to accelerate Bible translation and help bring God’s Word to those who are still waiting for Scripture in their heart language.
Without air support, translation teams are left without timely supplies, medical help, and transportation! Over 300 people groups are still waiting for the first word of Scripture in their heart language. But the thick jungles and mountain terrain handicap communication and travel. Your gift today will help Wycliffe Associates repair and build critically needed airstrips in Papua New Guinea.
