Flood waters in the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka are beginning to recede, yet the emotional and physical devastation of survivors isn't going away with the water. Gospel for Asia has committed to stand by these survivors, offering physical aid and the love of God so they can rebuild a future of hope. Right now they need food, water, clean clothing and basic household utensils. We also know that when the water completely recedes, they will need help rebuilding their lives.

Gospel for Asia's Compassion Services is bringing Christ's love to the suffering and needy in very practical ways. GFA-supported missionaries and volunteers assist survivors of natural disasters by providing food, water, medical care, clothing and even shelter. Teams also minister to slum dwellers and leprosy patients in some of Asia's major cities. And all is done with a clear Gospel witness.

This is the dream of people in Asia who have lost everything in a natural disaster. Through GFA Compassion Services, a simple, sturdy house can be provided for a family. This house will show parents and their children that there are people called Christians who loved them enough to provide shelter for them . . . and that Jesus loves them as well.

For many children in Asia, a bright future is only a dream—because they’re at the bottom rung of society. Although they’re smart, hard-working and willing to learn, they don’t have the resources or opportunity to attend school. But you can change a child’s life forever, setting them on a path to success and giving them spiritual hope! By sponsoring a Bridge of Hope child, you will provide clean clothes, meals, medical care, an education and the chance to know that Jesus loves them.

A Labor of Love. The backbone of Gospel for Asia’s ministry is the native missionaries we support. By sponsoring a native missionary, you will provide his or her basic needs so that your sponsored missionary can focus full-time on ministering to the people in unreached areas. It only takes $30 per month to help sponsor a missionary and be part of his support team. You can provide for a whole year of his ministry for $360.

Quench the Thirst of a Village. You can provide a Jesus Well that will serve an entire community for $1,000. Jesus Wells, located near churches or Bible colleges, provide hundreds of opportunities for GFA-supported missionaries to share the love of Jesus with the villagers who come for clean water.
