Ministry Description
The mission of Partners International is to connect the global Christian community to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the least reached, least resourced nations on earth--planting and building the Church where it does not exist today. We accomplish this uniquely through Christ-centered, strategic, and trusting partnerships with indigenous ministry organizations who have a vision to advance the Kingdom of God in their nation. Our key strategy to reach and impact lives is holistic witness (word and deed), which means reaching out to the "whole" person. We address physical, spiritual, and socioeconomic concerns with the Gospel message of hope. We collaborate with our partners to ensure the holistic health of the Church via discipleship, equipping leaders and church planters, empowering women and children, and transforming the community health and economy. We partner exclusively in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.

Would you walk through the night just to spend a few hours encouraging believers and reaching out to villages far from your home? In Asia and Africa, our dedicated church planters don't think twice. But you can greatly increase their ministry effectiveness with the gift of a bicycle, allowing them to travel farther and faster with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Since 1943, Partners International has been working alongside national believers to bring Christ’s love to the least Christian regions of the world. We believe in holistic witness, which means caring for a person’s physical and spiritual needs. Our Harvest of Hope Gift Catalog is a sampling of our partners’ projects around the world. From goats to help families start small businesses to bicycles for church planters, you can give life-changing gifts and build God's Kingdom at the same time.
A motorbike is too expensive for most of our partner church planters, but many of them tell us it would greatly expand their ministry. With a motorbike they can visit and start churches in more communities, spend less time traveling, and traverse rough mountain roads much more easily. Exponentially increase the impact a church planter can have by giving a motorbike!
Decades of civil war and unrest in Darfur has displaced millions of Sudanese people. The split of Sudan into two countries in July 2011 has left millions more with an uncertain future. In the midst of the turmoil, your gift of relief supplies such as cooking pots, blankets, food, and tools offers meaningful assistance to a family in need.
Children in rural Indonesian villages don't have access to books in their schools or homes, and literacy rates are low. Our partners strive to improve literacy by setting up small village reading posts. Ministry workers help communities exchange books, providing fresh reading materials on a regular basis. Your gift of $475 sets up a new village reading post; $10 provides 5 books.
Disabled kids get a new lease on life when they participate in our partner's rehabilitation centers. Your gift provides a child with restorative therapy, social skills, and fun as they participate with loving staff, who also minister to their parents. For kids labeled as a "curse" by their society, your gift is a powerful testimony of the love of Christ!
Today, the majority of frontline Christian ministry in the hard places of the world is being done by local, indigenous believers. They know the language and culture. They are seen as insiders, not as outsiders bringing foreign ideas. They live simply—on the same level as the locals. They have a passion and God-given vision to reach their people for Christ. But they can’t do it alone. Combine your passion, talents, and resources in service to your brothers and sisters in Christ.
Hundreds of children are waiting for a sponsor like you. Will you be one? Your gift of $360 per year or $30 per month provides tuition, school supplies, a uniform, and sometimes food or medical care. As part of the sponsorship program, children will also have the opportunity to know Jesus through Sunday school or a Bible club. For less than one dollar a day, you can provide this precious gift! Sponsor a child today and help change the course of a child's life forever.
Our partners have planted hundreds of churches in some of the world's hardest places for ministry. Join with God in building His Church by supporting a local church planter who is serving as Jesus' hands and feet overseas. Your support will be a great encouragement, allowing a church planter to focus full-time on ministry work. $150 supports a church planter for one month.
