Ministry Description
The purpose for which this corporation is initially organized is to establish and oversee places of worship, to conduct the work of evangelism worldwide, to support missionary activities, to license and ordain ministers of the Gospel, and to engage in activities, which are necessary, suitable or convenient for the accomplishment of these purposes. Its specific objectives and purposes of organization shall be as follows: 1. Provide a covering and umbrella for American missionaries serving the Lord in the 10/40 Window. 2. Support and sponsor established churches, new church plants, and other ministries in the 10/40 Window.

There is currently only 82 evangelical churches in Lebanon catering to more than 6,000,000 people. While some of these churches are on the decline, others are dependent on outside support. Through this 5-year project, we will not only add three self-sufficient community driven churches, but also ones that are able to do what seems to be impossible; start an indigenous driven church planting movement by the end of 2024.
For the last decade 10/40 Hope has worked towards reaching the 6,000 unreached people groups of the 10/40 window. Through empowering indigenous ministries and helping our partners grow, we have worked on accomplishing our part of the great commission. Individual initiatives for church plants have always failed in the past. That’s why this project aims at planting churches through teams that work with the blessing of the areas’ political and cultural leaders.
