Ministry Description
Kansas City Rescue Mission is an evangelical nondenominational ministry, offering freedom and hope to homeless men and women in metropolitan Kansas City. The KCRM men's center provides a 62-bed emergency shelter, meals, case management, chaplaincy, and healthcare. Its resident recovery program includes adult education, life skills, Bible classes, and counseling. Recovery program graduates can join KCRM's resident transitional program for up to two years while completing educational and career goals. KCRM's women's center is a resident recovery program for 20 homeless women with co-occurring disorders. The program includes room and board, case management, therapeutic counseling, life skills, and advocacy.
