In 2008, Urban Youth Impact focused its staff and programming to launch The Leadership Academy, an enhanced model of the after school program. The Leadership Academy goes beyond tutoring to equip the kids emotionally, physically, and spiritually. In addition to academic enrichment, students in grades K-12 are learning leadership skills, working on community service projects, attending optional Bible studies, and being mentored by full-time staff.

| Urban Youth Impact has 11 years of experience in operating programs and activities which meet the needs of at-risk youth ages 6-18 residing in low-income areas of West Palm Beach and Riviera Beach, Florida. Our mission is to love, equip, and empower these children to fulfill their God-given purpose. Our programs are relationship-based to the core. It is through the development of trusting, loving relationships that our staff and volunteers are able to impact the lives of the children we serve. |
