Ministry Description
The Family Radio Network, Inc.'s mission is to broadcast the hope of Jesus Christ to strengthen and encourage Listeners. The Family serves to educate, encourage and preserve the family through a Christ centered contemporary and versatile communications platform. Our Foundational Principles are: 1. We will advocate and protect the ideals of the traditional family as it is defined and established in the Holy Bible. 2. We believe that truly healthy relationships can only be attained through a healthy relationship with Jesus Christ. 3. We will feed the souls of individual family members by offering a daily diet of the Gospel in a variety of compelling ways. 4. The context of all our offerings will intentionally and unapologetically be presented from a traditional Biblical world view. At present, our communications platform consists of 91.9 WEMI-Appleton, 91.5 WEMY-Green Bay and 88.5 WGNV-Milladore, and 91.3 WSTM-Sheboygan all four radio stations are located in Wisconsin.

The goal of Christmas Care is to reach out with the love of Jesus Christ and to joyfully give hurting people a tangible reminder that we (their neighbors) remember them and care for them, and so does God. Christmas Care campaign collects Christmas gifts for people in 41 area shelters and emergency rooms. Area residents, churches, schools, organizations, and businesses are encouraged to participate by filling wrapped shoe boxes with NEW gifts like toys, mittens, and candy for someone in need.
The Family’s ‘Help for the Homeless’ hygiene drive works with area homeless coalitions to stock the shelves of 78 homeless and crisis programs in 13 Wisconsin communities in our listening areas. The goal of Help for the Homeless is to supply a year’s worth of product to each agency (In many cases, this is happening!).
As we seek to fulfill our mission statement of Helping Families Build Healthy Relationships, we do this through our radio stations WEMI/WEMY/WGNV all based in Wisconsin. We are actively involved in the community so that we can touch lives with the gospel of Jesus Christ and encourage others to live out their faith. Your gift will help us continue to do so.
The Federal Communications Commission has approved the power increase for one of our towers from 50,000 to 100,000 watts. The power increase will enable us to better reach families in areas surrounding Stevens Point, Wausau, Marshfield, and Wisconsin Rapids with Christ centered music and programming for the whole family. The total cost for the power increase is $200,000. We would appreciate your partnership in advancing the Gospel in Central Wisconsin.
