Ministry Description
YWAM Tyler has an international mission to reach, train, and equip individuals to strengthen their societal structures: family, church, education, business, government, arts & entertainment, and media & communications. We are committed "to know God and make Him known" through training, evangelism and mercy. Our Tyler Ministries include: Dayspring: Chirstian Heritage School (K-12), School of the Bible, and Teachers for the Nations. Twin Oaks Ranch: Discipleship Training Schools, MercyWorks, Arts with a Mission, as well as an Administration and Accounting office to support all the ministries listed. Our accounting Department is also the primary clearinghouse in the Americas to receive, process, forward and receipt donations for 1,630 individuals in missions worldwide.

For 40 years, YWAM Tyler has been training and sending hundreds of missionaries annually through a host of training programs including the signature Discipleship Training School. YWAM Tyler works to spread the Gospel through evangelism (bringing the Good News), training (preparing workers to reach others), and mercy ministry (showing God’s love through practical assistance). These methods utilize everything from health care and English courses to church planting in order to make God known.
We have outgrown our facilities and currently need to expand! In the past several years, there has been an increase in the number of students, especially from Asia, seeking missions training. We are seeking to complete phase II of our master plan. This includes the completion of a multi-purpose building that will house a kitchen, dining hall and two classrooms. $3 million is needed to complete the project.
