Ministry Description
Children of Promise is the international child sponsorship program of the Church of God (Anderson, IN). It provides food, education, health care, and spiritual nurture to children in need in 23 countries. All assistance is provided through the local congregations of the Church of God in each country. Individual sponsors are linked to individual children through monthly support, communication, and prayer support.

ServantMatch™
Children of Promise desires to place a Bible in the hands of each child it sponsors in 23 countries. We are hoping to provide 3,900 Bibles to children in their own languages. The average cost of a Bible in the child's native language is $10. Please help us get a copy of the Word of God into the hand of each sponsored child.
Each child receives basic health care benefits as part of their sponsorship through Children of Promise. However, sometimes a child has a special medical need that cannot be met by the monthly sponsorship amount such as surgery, radiation or chemotherapy, or special optical issues. This fund allows us to offer this medical assistance when otherwise it would not be possible.
As an international child sponsorship program in 23 countries, Children of Promise periodically faces the issue of sponsors who cannot continue to sponsor their children in need. Rather than stop the children's benefits (food, schooling, health care, and spiritual nurture), we utilize the Unsponsored Children Fund to cover their benefits until we find new sponsors. This provides stability and continuity to the children's sponsorship experience. Monthly sponsorship amounts are $25 and $30.
Malaria is a leading killer of children in tropical regions of the world. Children of Promise is currently endeavoring to provide each sponsored child who lives in a malaria-prone region of the world his/her own mosquito net. The mosquito net is the foremost preventative measure against malaria. Nets average about $10 each. Please help us keep children safe from malaria-carrying mosquitoes.
