Ministry Description
The World Radio Network (WRN) was formed in 1978 as a ministry of HCJB World Radio (WRMF) to reach the US/Mexico border and Hispanics in the interior of the US with Gospel programming. The WRN is comprised of 15 FM stations, 9 repeaters, 2 satellite services with about a dozen affiliates, and a Bible correspondence school. In 2005, on the advice of attorneys, auditors and insurance underwriters, the boards of WRN and WRMF voted to become legally separate but cooperating ministries.
