American Heritage Girls is a nondenominational Christ centered character development organization for girls ages 5-18 whose mission is to build women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country. AHG partners with churches and private schools to achieve it's ministry goals. The AHG program offers life skill enhancement through a multi level badge program, character development through community service and citizenship opportunities, spiritual development through its religious awards program, confidence and teamwork building through outdoor experiences and girl leadership opportunities at each program level. Each American Heritage Girl promises: "To love God, cherish my family, honor my country and serve in my community."

AHG has many Troops, families, and Charter Organizations that have been directly affected by this brutal storm. We know that many of you are seeing the multitude of photos and videos of the destruction and are asking how you can assist. AHG has added the ability to donate to a special AHG Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund to assist AHG families in need of basic life necessities. 100% of the funds will go directly to the AHG families identified by our ambassador in the field.
The American Heritage Girls' message, program, deliverability and effectiveness has been proven over the past twenty years. The AHG National Growth initiative is based on creating volunteer Leadership Teams in each community to enhance membership growth, program delivery and volunteer engagement. Funds are needed to train and provide support to Leadership Team members.
