Phoenix Rescue Mission is dedicated to ending hunger and homelessness in Maricopa County. Not everyone needs shelter or addiction recovery services. Sometimes it’s something simple like a shower or hot meal, or assistance with a resume. Other times a more extensive intervention is needed to help our clients find their way back to wholeness. Wherever our client’s needs fall on our spectrum of services, we are able to connect them to one of our Christ-centered programs or community resources that will best serve them. Phoenix Rescue Mission’s Community Engagement program meets the basic needs of an individual experiencing homelessness or persons/families living below the poverty level. Services are provided at two Phoenix Rescue Mission centers, Hope for Hunger Food Bank in Glendale and the Transforming Lives Center in Phoenix. Our Solutions Programming provides various short-term residential options for persons facing homeless, addiction or other life controlling problems. Our R.A.P. M

During the Code Red months of May-August, with temps rarely leaving the triple digits, life on the streets goes from unbearable to deadly. Homeless men, women, and children urgently need your help to survive the blistering summer heat. The Mission brings the community together every summer to collect hundreds of thousands of bottles of water, create Hope Totes to give to those on the street, and raise funds to offer shelter from the deadly heat.
During the Christmas season, you can help families in need, and in the process, receive a dollar-for-dollar credit on your Arizona state taxes! How does it work? You can make a donation to Phoenix Rescue Mission of any amount (up to $200 if filing singly or $400 if filing jointly for your Arizona state tax return). When you file your Arizona taxes, you can claim a dollar-for-dollar Arizona Charitable Tax Credit that will either reduce your tax liability or increase your refund.
$1.92 can change a life. You can help us give water, food, and hope to a homeless man, woman, or child for only $1.92 per person. Learn how your tax-deductible donation, in any amount, can change a person's life.
