Ministry Description
Our ministry is based on Hebrews 13:3: Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body. VOM’s Five Main Purposes 1.To encourage and empower Christians to fulfill the Great Commission in areas of the world where they are persecuted for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. 2.To provide practical relief and spiritual support to the families of Christian martyrs. 3.To equip persecuted Christians to love and win to Christ those who are opposed to the gospel in their part of the world 4.To undertake projects of encouragement, helping believers rebuild their lives and Christian witness in countries where they have formerly suffered oppression. 5.To promote the fellowship of all believers by informing the world of the faith and courage of persecuted Christians, thereby inspiring believers to a deeper level of commitment to Christ and involvement in His Great Commission.

Christians residing in restricted nations are often denied access to Bibles. VOM prints and smuggles Bibles to believers—in their own language—who would otherwise live their lives without ever reading the word of God.
Often when a pastor or evangelist is imprisoned or killed for their activities, their families are left with little means of financial support. Funds donated to "Families of Martyrs" are used to help sustain these believers until they can find alternative means of support. They are also used to provide immediate support to those who’ve suffered persecution themselves. This can include living expenses, relocation or vocational training.
Front-Line Ministries was developed to directly assist pastors, evangelists and Christian workers who minister in the face of hostility and persecution. Your contribution to VOM's Front-Line Ministries Fund will help in expanding evangelism in more than 60 restricted and hostile nations.
The Voice Outreach function of VOM informs the western world of the faith and courage of our persecuted family, thereby inspiring a deeper level of commitment to Christ and involvement in His Great Commission.
