Ministry Description
Christian Aid Ministries' (CAM) purpose is to be a trustworthy and efficient channel for the church to minister to physical and spiritual needs around the world. While CAM is primarily a channel for Amish, Mennonite, and other conservative Anabaptist groups, many other concerned individuals also contribute to CAM programs and projects. Annually, CAM distributes between 20 and 25 million pounds of food, clothing, medicine, seeds, Bibles, Bible storybooks, and other Christian literature. Much of the aid goes to needy children, orphans, and Christian families. CAM's main purposes for providing aid are: 1) to help and encourage God's people and 2) to help bring the Gospel to a lost and dying world. CAM has staff, warehouses, and distribution networks in Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Haiti, Nicaragua, Liberia, Kenya, and Israel. Our Disaster Response Services program and Rapid Response teams coordinate volunteers to clean up and rebuild in natural disaster areas in the USA, and our Internation

CAM has a program in place to coordinate volunteers, mostly Amish and Mennonites, to cleanup and rebuild in natural disaster areas in the USA. Volunteers on the DRS (Disaster Response Services) and Rapid Response projects have the blessing of being the hands and feet of Jesus to people who have lost earthly possessions and, in some cases, family members. Help support CAM’s cleanup and rebuilding projects in disaster areas in the USA by giving today!
This program helps victims of war, famine, and natural disasters around the world. Supporters' donations provide emergency food, medicines, clothing, shelter, or other aid, and sometimes rebuilding. CAM's main priority in all International Crisis (IC) projects is to distribute Christian literature and share the love of Christ, sometimes in closed and dark places of the world.
Rapid Response Services coordinates volunteers to help with cleanup, repairs, and search and rescue in the aftermath of storms and floods in the United States, and our teams are on the ground in Texas responding to Hurricane Harvey. If you would like to help, you can donate on our website. Thank you for your support!
When Hurricane Maria struck Puerto Rico, a U.S. territory in the Caribbean, it was the most violent storm to hit the island since 1932. Our staff have been in touch with contacts in Puerto Rico and are investigating ways to help. We plan to set up two bases in Puerto Rico from where volunteers will do cleanup and rebuilding. This has been an unusually busy hurricane season. Please give as you feel led.
