Ministry Description
Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission promotes Christianity and temperance; seeks to improve and address the conditions of the poor and underemployed in the Philadelphia area; feeds, shelters and clothes men, women and children; provides individual counseling and offers evening chapel services. The Mission also provides Bibles, other Christian material and addiction recovery literature. Support comes from contributions from individuals, churches, trusts, foundations and operation of the Beehive Thrift Store.
