Women of Hope International Accredited by National Financial Accountability Organization
SOUTHAVEN, MS – The ECFA (Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability) announced today the accreditation of Women of Hope International of Southaven, MS.
ECFA accreditation is based on the ECFA Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship™, including financial accountability, transparency, sound board governance and ethical fundraising.
Women of Hope International joins a growing number of Christ-centered churches and ministries across America, supported by over 27 million donors that have earned the right to display the ECFA seal. When an organization is accredited by ECFA, it demonstrates its willingness to follow the model of biblical accountability.
“We are pleased to accredit a ministry committed to train and equip the body of Christ to utilize a biblical framework to promote the holistic transformation of women affected by disability with the gospel throughout the developing world,” said Dan Busby, president of ECFA.
Founded in 2009, Women of Hope International (www.womenofhopeinternational.org) accomplishes their mission through the training and mentoring of ministry partners around the world in holistic disability ministry, using curriculum designed with a biblical framework and through staff training, discipleship, and financial support to Women of Hope Sierra Leone, a registered non-profit organization in Sierra Leone, who provide programs to support the holistic transformation of women affected by disability.
