The Women in Leadership National Study was led by researchers from Gordon College and Wheaton College in partnership with the Center for Social Research at Calvin College. The study’s advisory group included leaders of some of the largest evangelical nonprofits in the country, such as World Vision and ECFA.
The research included a study of more than 1,400 Christian organizations, a survey of leaders of some of these organizations and interviews with the leadership teams of 14 organizations.
The study found that while evangelical organizations are making progress, they are still lagging well behind the broader academic and nonprofit world.
You may access the executive summary of the findings of the study, entitled Missional Effectiveness: Achieving Institutional Goals and Mission and the full reports on all three phases of the study, at: www.gordon.edu/womeninleadership.
